Dr Wendy King

Clinical Director / Aesthetic Doctor

As a doctor, Wendy has always been drawn to medical aesthetics — where science meets artistry, balance, and proportion. She’s never believed in a “one size fits all” approach; every face is unique, with different shapes, skin types, concerns, and ideals. For her, the only way forward is a tailored, individual plan.

Wendy is committed to natural-looking results, enhancing your best features and restoring skin health to bring back inner confidence. She takes pride in offering an artistic, personalised approach to aesthetic medicine — from injectables and skin consultations to scientifically backed treatments and bespoke home-care routines designed to suit your lifestyle and budget.

After more than 20 years in the NHS, Wendy remains passionate about the value it offers, but wanted to create a space free from its constraints. At The Lodsworth Clinic, she has more time to deliver truly holistic care, with every treatment carried out to the highest standards.

More about Dr Wendy

Wendy qualified as a doctor from St Mary’s Hospital London, in 1998 and specialised in anaesthesia, later becoming a Consultant Anaesthetist: a position she held at the Royal Surrey Hospital, Guildford for 12 years. With extensive experience managing elective and emergency cases, she brings calm expertise and precision to her aesthetic and skin work.

Her interest in aesthetics grew from a background in maxillofacial surgery. She trained at Harley Street’s MATA, has undertaken advanced training with leading experts, and is proud to be registered with SaveFace and CMAC — reflecting her focus on natural results and patient safety.

Wendy is also an Advanced Skin Specialist trained with pHformula, and she is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin. She strongly believes not everyone needs injectables, and that good skin health can transform confidence.

She has two daughters whom she encourages to feel comfortable in their own skin. Wendy is especially passionate about teaching the next generation the importance of sun protection and kindness to themselves, helping them face modern life with resilience. Outside the clinic, she loves walking her dogs on the South Downs, yoga, pilates, cooking, playing the piano, and planning her next adventure abroad.
