Profhilo is a biocompatible stabilised complex, combining purified high- (H-HA) and low- (L-HA) molecular weight hyaluronic acids with significant water-attracting properties. Free of chemical cross-linking BDDE, it contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market to effectively hydrate and remodel aging skin. Perfect if you don’t want dermal fillers, yet are seeking a treatment to tighten and improve skin quality.

As we age, collagen synthesis in the skin naturally declines whilst its degradation is increased, leading to dryness and wrinkles. Once Profhilo is injected into the skin, H-HA provides scaffolding to the dermis, whilst L-HA hydrates the superficial epidermis. In addition, Profhilo stimulates the production of 4 different types of collagen and elastin, so the results improve further with time.

This simple treatment is very effective in plumping up the skin to give a firmer, yet naturally radiant look, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Hydrating the skin from the inside-out, that dewy look is achieved within days, which only increases with time as new collagen is produced, remodelling skin laxity and improving quality.

There may be mild redness and transient swelling, or occasional bruising which will settle within a few days.

Following full assessment to ensure Profhilo is suitable, you will receive the first of two treatments, 4 weeks apart. This involves only a small number of injections, at what are described as the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP), as the product consistency means it disperses evenly under the surface of the skin. You will see improvement within 2-3 days, but the best results will usually be seen about 4 weeks after your second treatment. Effects last for around 6 months.

Its focus is the lateral cheek, improve structural support for jawline contour. Containing a higher concentration of Hyaluronic acid, it helps to improve facial volume over time, to create naturally improved firmness with a subtle lift and minimal downtime.
