Conventional peels strip the outer layer off the skin, and are classified according to their depth of penetration. By contrast, pHformula’s unique delivery complex allows for maximum strength formulations to be delivered direct to the different skin layers, whilst preserving integrity of the epidermis. This results in accelerated cell turnover and optimum skin regeneration, whilst reducing trauma and superficial irritation. So, consistent results without the negative side effects often seen with more commonly used peels.

Nano-needling is a non-invasive transdermal delivery system designed to resurface and to rejuvenate the skin for optimum results. This technique enables us to work on delicate areas such as the contours of the eyes and lips. Silicone hair-like cones increase the absorption of serum active ingredients, resulting in cytokine activation and nutrient release for improved collagen production, meaning we can target uneven skin tone and texture with no downtime.

The pHformula skin resurfacing treatments result in little or no downtime. Occasionally, you may experience some redness, tightening or superficial frosting for a day or so, but most patients find their skin is smooth and radiant immediately following treatment.

As with all our resurfacing facial treatments, we recommend you back off your active ingredients for 2-3 days after treatment to permit your skin time to recover from its workout! It is also important to avoid the heat of the sun after resurfacing as your skin will be more prone to burning. Otherwise you can carry on with life looking your absolute best!
